A Beauty

abeautyConnie Gault is a prairie writer with an impressive resume: she’s published two short story collections, and plays for stage and radio. Her novel Euphoria (2009) won the Saskatchewan Book Award for Fiction. Gault’s latest novel, A Beauty, draws on rich rural imagery that will resonate with prairie readers. I reviewed the novel for the Globe & Mail this weekend. Read my review here, and while you’re at it, check out Lisan Jutras’ great review of The Wild Oats Project, also in this weekend’s Globe Books.
